It has been said time and time again, that entertainment will “make or break” your event. In a recent national survey of brides polled AFTER their wedding:

  • 72% said they would have spent more time choosing entertainment to better fit their needs.
  • Almost 100% said they would have spent more money on entertainment that was more suited to their style, instead of just based on price, and
  • 81% of guests said the thing they remembered most was
    the entertainment!

Since the entertainment you choose will have such a profound and direct effect on the success of your event, it is in your best interest to meet with several entertainers until you find the one that is perfect for you. It’s your day and you should have everything you’ve ever dreamed of, but be realistic when hiring entertainment. Make sure they can create the ambience, energy and style you are looking for.

With the national average for a wedding approaching the $30,000 mark, expect to pay above $2,000 for the level of service needed to create an event no one will ever forget. Spending a minority 10-15% of your total budget for something that is responsible for a majority of the outcome is a great investment.
